Rising Hawks is the second level of the Hawks Leadership Academy, geared toward second year student-athletes.

Process to Join

1. Successful Completion of Hawks 101

2. Complete Hawks 101 Essay

3. Recommendation from Hawks 101 Facilitator

4. Recommendation from Head Coach

Expectations

1. Attend up to eight workshops throughout the course of the academic year.

2. Complete all required homework assignments.

3. Actively engage in workshop conversations.

Learning Outcomes

1. Rising Hawks participants will enhance peer communication and active listening skills.

2. Rising Hawks participants will identify healthy tools to cope with stress.

3. Rising Hawks participants will engage with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.

4. Rising Hawks participants will understand their role in conflict management.
