Meet ResultsTAMPA, Fla. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's swimming team kicked off competition in the 2015 portion of its schedule on Saturday at the Tampa Relay Carnival hosted by the University of Tampa, placing fourth out of five teams with 66 points.
Host Tampa registered a come-from-behind win, topping the field with 116 points. Limestone College placed second with 110 points, while DePauw University (third, 88), New Paltz (fourth, 66) and Lake Erie College (fifth, 16) rounded out the remainder of the field.
The Hawks placed third in two different relays: the 400 breaststroke relay (4:49.55) and the 3x166 SNARF relay (5:50.16). The 400 breaststroke relay was comprised of senior

Cassidy Griger (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central), senior
Kat Buyes (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./John Jay-East Fishkill) and sophomore
Ann Fici (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge).

Casey O'Connor (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield), Granan, junior
Maggie Heaton (New Milford, Conn./New Milford) and Griger placed fourth with a time of 4:17.66, while the Hawks' 8x50 freestyle relay also took fourth (3:33.39).
