BUFFALO, NY- The State University of New York at New Paltz swim teams were in action today for day one of the SUNYAC Championships. The meet is being held at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center on the campus of Erie Community College. The SUNY New Paltz men and women are currently placed third respectively through the first day.
The women took third in the 200-yard medley relay (Delilah Grieger, Alex Kassian, Kelly Donlevy, and Sierra DePry) with a time of 1:49.63. The women finished fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay (Julia Iaboni, Amanda O'Brien, Delilah Griger, and Kirsten Giovanniello) in a time of 8:15.40. The men took fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay (Ethan Bonney, Korey Barber, Lucas Hoyt, and Antonio Vavalle) with a time of 7:07.48. The Hawks would finish third in the 200-yard medley relay (Paul Castner, Lucas Hoyt, Steven Macaluso, and Venn Engstrom) with a time of 1:35.97.
