Chismar scattered just one hit in five scoreless innings on the mound for New Paltz against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla., helping the Hawks win, 5-2. He earned his second win of the season and struck out nine batters while walking two. On the year, he has a perfect 0.00 ERA and has struck out 18 in 11 innings pitched. Opposing hitters have mustered just five hits off him all year and are batting just .135 against the sophomore Lindenhurst, N.Y., native. New Paltz is 5-3 overall.
