Rieth placed no worse than third in the three individual events in which she competed at the 2011 ECAC Winter Swimming & Diving Championships from Friday through Sunday at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y. She started her weekend with a sizzling 23.51 split in the 50 freestyle on the Hawks' third-place 200 medley relay (1:50.60), and her Saturday session began with an NCAA provisional-qualifying performance in the 100 freestyle, as she took second with a time of 52.13. She anchored the Hawks' third-place 800 freestyle relay (8:04.30) with a 1:59.14 before contributing a 23.93 anchor leg on New Paltz's third-place 200 freestyle relay (1:40.08). She claimed seventh in the 200 freestyle with a 1:57.89 to close out her Saturday slate. On Sunday, she charted a 51.87 in the 100 freestyle on the Hawks' third-place 400 medley relay (3:59.88) before finishing second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.02. In her final swim of the meet, she registered a 51.42 anchoring the team's third-place 400 freestyle relay (3:38.13). New Paltz finished third out of 13 teams at the meet.
