Carozza fashioned a 1.11 ERA and a 3-0 record in a 7-1 week for the Hawks. To boot, of the 22 hits that she gave up in her three outings, just one went for extra bases. She threw five innings against D'Youville College on March 25, permitting just one unearned run off seven hits and one walk. Carozza also struck out two. Against Buffalo State on March 29, she yielded one run off seven hits and two walks while striking out three. Finally, versus SUNY Fredonia on March 30, she gave up two runs off eight hits and one walk while striking out two. For the season, she leads the team in ERA (2.32), innings pitched (42 1/3) and strikeouts (18).
