Ferriter averaged 3.53 kills per set, 1.65 digs per set, 0.47 service aces per set and 0.35 blocks per set in addition to hitting .339 in a 4-1 week for the Hawks. Ferriter had 13 kills and added seven digs in a 3-2 loss to the No. 6 Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Tuesday. He then provided 10 kills in the team's 3-0 victory over No. 2 Juniata College on Saturday before hitting .667 off 16 kills and two errors in 21 total attempts in New Paltz's 3-0 victory over Thiel College later on that day. On Sunday, Ferriter had 10 kills and seven digs in a 3-1 win against Vassar College before offering 11 kills, five digs and three service aces in New Paltz's 3-0 triumph over Dominican (Ill.) University. For the season, he ranks fifth in the UVC in kills per set (3.72) and sixth in the UVC in hitting percentage (.380). New Paltz (17-2, 5-1 UVC) next competes in UVC Crossover action from Saturday-Sunday, March 8-9, at Elmira College.
